Connotation & Denotation

Denotation: Some cartoon pictures are moving in cycle. In all cartoon pictures two cartoon characters like a cat and a mouse doing something. In one picture a cat is holding a mouse trap behind his body and a mouse is also holding a hammer behind him. They both are smiling. In another two pictures a cat and a mouse is paused in a running position. Finally, In another picture maybe the last, both cartoons are paused in a running position. In every picture the mouse is smiling.
Connotation: Cartoon character Tom&Jerry pulled each others leg and Tom is trying to catch Jerry. So, Tom is chasing Jerry and tried to catch but failed. Jerry is running in front of Tom and smiling which means Jerry intentionally pulled Tom's to do fight. Jerry is also confident that Tom could not catch him. Then the GIF starts again which means fight between Tom&Jerry will always remain same.

Connotation: This is a picture of two cartoon character from Tom&Jerry cartoon series. These two characters always try pull each others leg. So, in this picture Jerry (mice) is trying to hide a hammer from Tom (cat) and showing his hand to make Tom believe that there is nothing in his hand. On the other hand, Tom is also trying to hide a mouse trap from Jerry and giving Hi! to Jerry to make Jerry comfortable. Tom is also smiling to pretend that we are in a friendly situation. I am not planning anything bad for you (Jerry).

Connotation: Tom tried to catch Jerry but failed and this meaning established by lines around the cat & mouse and Jerry's smile. This lines also creating a massage that Tom & Jerry is in a running position.
